Keeping in touch with your customers lets them know they are important to you. Personalising those emails takes that to the next level by making an individual feel valued. You are effectively building brand awareness and when your customers feel valued and important it also builds trust, so they’ll be more likely to keep you in their mind when they next need your services.

If you need more from your service, packages from Mailchimp start at £10.55 per month, while Hubspot’s packages start at £17 per month and both have plenty of features to make your emails stand out from the crowd. We use Mailchimp here, but there are many more platforms out there if you do a little digging.   

Increase Social Media Engagement

In the same way that email marketing drives traffic to your website, it can be used to send customers to your social media accounts. Build engagement with offers and discounts and encourage customers new and old to follow your accounts. 

Boost Your Sales

Not only is it cheap (or even free) to get started, but it can bring in a lot of money in return, making email marketing a win win. 

Your subscribers have signed up to hear from you so you already have a willing audience, you just need to stir them into action with an offer, event, new product or service. You can even give customers a gentle nudge to return to their abandoned online basket to finish their order. They may have been meaning to checkout or order from you again and that simple, timely reminder landing in their inbox can prompt instant action.
