In celebration of Hartlepool Creative Business Week, we thought we’d take a minute to highlight some of our creative neighbours. We are lucky to be based in an amazing building in the heart of Hartlepool. The BIS houses creatives and creative businesses and we have some very talented neighbours! Here are just a few we have supported and that have also supported us over the past few years.
The team love the unique keepsake bears made to order by the lovely Jo at Bespoke Bears. Jo takes sentimental clothing and turns it into a gorgeous keepsake which you or a loved one will treasure forever. It’s fair to say hers is the cutest business in the building.
We also worked with Jo to build a website to handle her orders and showcase all of her products, from puppies to penguins.

We’ve been working with Tom at Garage 29 over the past year, creating a number of printed marketing materials for his go kart graphics business. Work is ongoing on his website which is set to launch later this year. Tom also helped us out with our studio door graphics, because unfortunately we don’t have a go kart!
We’ve had the pleasure of being taught to make jewellery on a number of occasions by the very patient, talented and lovely Carley at The Little Silver Kiln. Carley, a certified silversmith, offers workshops where you can make your own rings and more, as well as creating her own range which can be found on Etsy. You’ll be greeted with a smile, a cuppa and if you’re lucky…a Jammy Dodger!
We were approached by Optimisation Solutions to film an AGM for a customer of theirs. The guys were great to work with and the meeting was recorded, edited and embedded in their customer’s website.
We have enjoyed working with Emma and Rachel from BloomIn Art for a few years now. Not only producing their own website, but also collaborating on the Wintertide Festival website. They are fun and talented creatives who keep us entertained with the weird and wonderful creations they produce in their studio opposite ours.
That’s just a handful of our super talented neighbours here at The BIS. We’ve enjoyed working with every one of them and look forward to more opportunities to collaborate in the future!
